Embodied Herbals, Cleveland, OH

Kimberly is a Middleway Method Practitioner, Massage Therapist, plant enthusiast and educator. After spending the past 10 years in the Sierra Mountains and Pacific coast, she is now a wildflower among the city in Cleveland, Ohio. She offers one-on-one Somatic Education, healing touch and sound therapy, as well as community classes in the art of herbal preparations and mindfulness. One of her strengths is integrating conventional medicine and understanding of the human body with the more natural, innate wisdom and rich cultural differences and beliefs that we all contain.

Kimberly has a Bachelor’s Degree in Long Term Health Care, Gerontology and Business. She is a Certified Wilderness First Responder, a graduate of the Arcata School of Massage,  and a Certified Herbalist through the Dandelion Herbal Center.

I work with herbs, teas, tinctures and flower essences not as a way to fix or heal something but as a tool, an intention or focus, to bring about awareness of patterns you are dealing with in the current moment. This is not a goal oriented way of healing but one of trusting the process and taking the small steps to attain certain milestones of growth.  As a Middleway Method Practitioner, we can tap into a universal community and platform that provides support, experience, education and tools to achieve personal growth in any aspect of your life.

Lila Sklar

Middleway Method Approved Provider

In past years Lila taught group classes in improvisation and a variety of musical styles at Middle Eastern Music Camp, Lark In The Morning, and the Jascha Heifetz Symposium Of Individual Style. Kelly Vittoria, LMT, RSCT®

Middleway Method Approved Provider
Biodynamic Craniosacral and Massage Therapy, Ashland, OR

April 5 SI Joint Dysfunction: Assessment and Treatment for Massage Therapists – Ashland, OR

I have been a dedicated healing arts practitioner since 2001 when I graduated from massage school at the lovely Heartwood Institute in Garberville, CA.  In the years since, I have continued to immerse myself in a wide range of healing practices with over 2000 hours of ongoing training.

My intention as a practitioner is one of deep listening and allowing the body’s own intelligence to respond.  Early on in my practice, I experienced how the body has an innate ability to restore itself and recover balance, as well as establish a sense of wholeness and wellbeing. When I felt this healing force directly in myself and in my clients, and witnessed the body's incredible therapeutic capabilities, I truly understood the degree of transformation that is possible.  This is the biodynamic awareness that guides all of my sessions, from medical massage to the subtlest touch.

I currently have a private practice in Ashland, Oregon, and also offer end-of-life care to Rogue Valley community members on hospice.  Additionally, I am an instructor at the Ashland Institute of Massage, where I enjoy being part of each students’ journey to find their own unique healing expression.  I feel so fortunate to be able to share in this remarkable field of bodywork in these rich and heart-expanding ways!
